3 Days Nairobi Safari To Amboseli And Tsavo West Tour

On the second day of our Nairobi to Tsavo West and Amboseli safari we journey on (safari) to Tsavo West. We begin the day with an early morning breakfast then safari game drive in Amboseli with an optional visit to a Maasai Village before you depart for Tsavo West National Park. Enter Tsavo West through the Chyulu gate and proceed with safari game drive to the Mzima Springs – a sparkling oasis of crystal-clear pools home to hippos, crocodile and fish which can be seen from an underground tank. A nature trail loops through the dense indigenous forest and around the springs, offering information on flora, viewing stations and picnic areas. Proceed to your safari lodge/camp for check-in and lunch, an afternoon Safari game visiting the Tsavo West Rhino Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at your Tsavo West Safari Camp or Lodge.

Tsavo West National Park covers 20,808sq km (8,034sq miles), The Park comprises a diversity of habitats, open plains alternating with savannah bush and semi-desert scrub; acacia woodlands; rocky ridges and outcrops. With a permanent water source, the park is virtually guaranteed enormous herds and excellent game viewing including Cheetah, Lion, Leopard and Hyena and huge herds of Elephants.
