Taita Hills Game Sanctuary 2 Nights Safari starts from Mombasa Island and takes you Taita Hills Game Sanctuary which borders Tsavo West National Park. The Park shelters many animals because there is plenty of water. Large herds of elephants and other plains game migrate to the sanctuary from Tsavo each year. Our accommodations will be at the Taita Salt Lick Lodge which is a Tree Lodge located in the Park.

Taita Taveta Tour Itinerary
Saltlick Lodge is especially memorable for its imaginative structure. A complex of roundavels sits on stilts over a series of water holes. The two-store towers, topped by peaked thatch roofs, are connected by open-air-bridges, creating an African fantasy of a medieval fortress.
